Office 365 for Students & Employees

CCC ITS has been working to better enhance user experience with Office 365. As a result, if you currently use Office 365 through CCC there are some changes that may affect you.
 

If you currently sign into Office.com with your email address and a password you previously set up:

  • Starting June 27, 2022, you will no longer need to use the password you previously set up.  You will log into Office.com with your email address and the password you use to access all other CCC resources (i.e. myCCC Portal, Employee Webmail, Computers on campus, etc.)
     

Please note, these changes will not affect your login to the myCCC Portal, Employee Webmail, Student Gmail, or any other technology that CCC ITS provides to students and staff/faculty.

 

Microsoft Office 365 is available for all active students and employees. Office 365 can be downloaded on up to 5 personal devices. Personal devices include desktops, laptops, tablets and Android/iOS phones. Student and employee accounts that are no longer active will be disabled in Office 365.

How to Login

Your login to Office is your Email and the same password as your Comet ID used for our other CCC systems including myCCC.

 

  1. Navigate to Office.com and enter your email address in the field.

  2. On the next screen type in your CCC password.

  3. After signing in you will see the main Office landing page.

Recurring Banner Maintenance Window:

ITS has scheduled a Banner maintenance window Wednesday mornings from 12:00 a.m. – 7:00 a.m. During this time Banner services (Self Service Banner, DegreeWorks, Banner Forms) may be unavailable.

 

DegreeWorks Login Error

Users experiencing the error "This user does not have permission to access Dashboard" can use the following workaround: on the same page with the error, click the link stating "Log out then try again". On the next page, click the link stating "Sign in again". DegreeWorks should now be available for use. For any questions or additional assistance, contact the ITS Help Desk.
